André Pernet

André Pernet, military trumpetist and composer, was born on November 28, 1923 in the Diablerets (Switzerland). At 13, he plays flugelhorn in the local band, then in the military band and the folkloric orchestra "Diablerets". Member of the Suisa, the Swiss Authors Society, since 1953, André Pernet likes especially the Swiss folklore and counts neighbourhood 500 compositions for brass bands, folkloric bands, accordions, Alphorns. He represented Switzerland in various occasions in the surrounding countries and in Russia.
